It's actually in the middle of the wall. It would've been better to have it towards the bottom so it can drain on its own without having to pick it up, tilting, etc. Not sure if that'll cause eventual stretching, warping unnecessarily. I have a 60lb Mali. This will do to bathe her outside. I'd recommend as long as you're aware of the drain hole. It'll serve its purpose.

since we dont have a pool and our samoyed loves water my daughter bought one of these pools on line and it was the best purchase ever she bought one for xxl dogs and the 2 of us sit in it and our dog loves walking around and trys to swim
