Scary weight capacity and squeaking
My 11yo son weighs 185lbs and my 9yo daughter weighs 173lbs. She sleeps on the top bunk and he sleeps on the bottom futon. This bunk bed squeaks when they get on it and even when they make the slightest move. The capacity says 200lbs. We tried the store model and it didn't squeak like ours does at home. It makes me so nervous that the top bunk will fall on my son.
