Lasted one whole night. There is no timer or any way to turn them off. You would literally have to put new battery's in everyday. Bought about 20 for all my windows. Waste of money.

If you are looking for battery-operated candles for your window, I would not recommend these at all. I have purchased similar candles at Big Lots that worked very well, but these apparently don't have a timer like most window candles. I put in new batteries (batteries are not included) and set them in my window and turned them on. They didn't have a switch but I was OK with that, thinking they would automatically turn themselves off in a few hours, and turn back on at the same time the next day. But by the next day they were all burnt out. If you want these for a centerpiece they might be fine. They would look alright amidst greenery or other elements, and would give off a nice glow for a while. But unless you can remember to go around to each window and unscrew the batteries each evening before going to bed, these are not the candles you're looking for. I'm really disappointed that Big Lots would sell these--they should be much, much cheaper (maybe $2 for all 3) and clearly state that these are for short-term use.

So dull. Not even worth the sale price.

I did not realize that like the others I bought, these candles do not have a timer. In the package It was very difficult to get the tops off. The bulbs came out fine but the tops were cross threaded. The light was nice in the one I did get to come undone but I prefer the automatic timer ones.

Good value and great for Christmas decor.

Bulbs are very dull and barely shine... Also hard to twist off/on…Cheap and not worth buying.

What I love about these candles , is that they give off the Incandescent light just like a real candle! And Not the LED bright light that doesn't look real!
