Purchased 1 month ago, and works well, great picture. Only down sides are that the remote is too small with crowded buttons and weak transmission so often not seen by the receiver and there is no way to modify the quality of the recordings (to save space).

We bought this when our old Magnavox went out. Absolutely did not want to get cable or internet or dish for our cottage. This is just what we needed. It has a better picture than the other tuner. It can even record which is a feature we did not anticipate.

Short life span and really glitchy. My latest looks different and has a different box design. I'm hoping maybe it has been upgraded from Total Garbage to May Not Be As Garbage As Before. Won't hold my breath. That said when it functions as it should, not freezing or crashing it does have some redeeming qualities.
