My daughter received this doll as a Christmas gift and loved it. I only let her dip the doll tail not submerge it. It stopped working when it got wet. She is crushed!

I bought this Barbie mermaid for my 5 y.o. daughter. She was so excited. She played with it in her tubby and within 10 min the lights stopped working. She is really disappointed. I gave 1 star. And I don't recommend this product.

I bought this Barbie for my daughter's birthday . She is a beautiful ,colorful mermaid and lights up ! I was so excited for to open this present , she couldn't wait to get it open and in the water , she plays with this doll daily ,no joke . She has me turn the lights off when she is in the tub so I can watch the lights with her . She has different light modes and they are all fun to watch , her hair has a pretty pink streak and is pretty when she swims through the water . Very happy I purchased this doll , have had no issues with the lights at all .

My 7 yr old begged for this Barbie for the longest and we surprised her for her birthday on April 18th. During the first bath the Barbie stopped lighting up and she is really upset. Is there anyway to fix the Barbie and get her light up?

I bought one a month ago for my 4yr olds birthday and it stop working after the first swim. Took it back to the shop and got a replacement and it happened again! It stopped working after it's first swim. Appalled!

My daughter is almost three, and this is the first Barbie she actively asked for. She is in love with it. She takes it in the bath and carries it around with her all the time. Unfortunately, within a week of buying it, the batteries stopped working. Replacement batteries are quite expensive for this doll. My daughter still likes it, but is quite upset that she doesn't light up anymore. I get that toys will need replacement batteries after a while, but a week? That's not appropriate for a kid's toy. And to add insult to injury, the batteries aren't "normal" and affordable batteries that we normally buy and keep around.
