Loved at first, but very disappointed 2 years later

Husband loves the comfort of this chair. However, 2 years later, it's very difficult to recline, makes loud thumping/clanging noises when doing so. Very disappointed.

Stay away from any pieces in this set. The recliner is very poor quality, makes a ton of noise and gets "clunky" within a month of gentle use. Do not waste your time or your money!!!

I don't know what happened the chair was fine and all the sudden the rocker don't work.. any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?
The hardware breaks

Picked up the chair at the store. Got it home assembled it. The hardware broke causing the chair the slant to the right. Looked at the hardware and the plastic parts were broken. Was very comfortable just disappointed.

Did Not Hold Up
We bought these recliners Black Friday 2020. Within weeks, we realized something was wrong with the rocking mechanism in the one on the left. They are both broken now. Don't rock/don't recline....
