Awful Bottle
Reviewed at

Whatever type of plastic they are using to make the bottles, is awful. It is thin and does not keep its form after being squeezed even slightly. Sounds like a cats crinkle toy.

Sour taste

Heinz ketchup is less sour. Maybe the ingredients need to be adjusted. That's why my kids like Heinz
Dislike new bottle

While we only buy French's ketchup, we are not impressed with the new bottle. It's loud when we squeeze and the plastic delaminated!
Love the ketchup, hate the bottle.

We did a taste test, and the family agreed we like to ketchup better. But the bottles are absolutely crap, especially the 1 L we are switching back to Heinz until this is changed. I would recommend that the new bottles clearly state that it's a new and improved bottle. Probably will win back a lot of customers. It pains me, because I'd like to support Canadian grown produce.
Contenant ketchup

C'est incroyable, la bouteille de ketchup est tellement molle et n'a pas de corps. A un certain moment en pressant, impossible de verser du ketchup. Fini le ketchup, je retourne à Heinz.

Can't get the bottle open
Reviewed at

I've purchased French's Ketchup twice now (two different sized/shaped bottles) and will not be buying it again. There is something about the size and shape of the bottle that makes opening the flip lid impossible. It just won't flip. It seems to get worse as time progresses. There is not dried or crusted ketchup glueing it shut. At least not on the outside of the bottle (in the lid). We have to resort to twisting the lid off to use the ketchup but as the amount of ketchup in the bottle decreases, the harder it is to twist the lid off! The size and shape of the bottle make the whole neck twist instead of just the lid! It is incredibly frustrating and I just don't want to deal with it ever again. I read French's replies to some of the other comments about how they are changing the packaging. I truly hope the package testing wasn't just on new bottles. They really need to account for bottles in use, stored in the fridge, open, for several weeks. Basically, the twist and the flip work when the bottle is brand new and the seal is first removed. After that, it gets harder and harder to open to the point where it becomes impossible to open. I love ketchup but we don't need this headache.

1 Lt bottle is so thin
Reviewed at

We love French's Ketchup but the 1 lt container is so thin. It collapses when you squeeze the container. Change it back I don't want to go back to the other brand.

PACKAGING ISSUE

Contents great — NEW PACKAGING A DISASTER. Nobody wants to squeeze a bottle that squeaks and stays collapsed! Been using since the Heinz issue, but won't be buying again unless this packaging disaster gets rectified.
