I use this starch on my fabrics before I cut, sew, and quilt them. It gives the fabric just enough stability so that it keeps the shape while sewing. This tip came from the Fat Quarter Shop, and it works very well, but it's all about preference. My quilt blocks always came out a little wonky, but since I started using this starch, it's much better.
