This recliner is SURPRISINGLY comfortable. I have had a lot of back surgeries and I need good cushion support. For this price point, this is really an outstanding product. However. I am returning it. The handle is very VERY stiff. It is super easy to open the chair but I cannot close it by myself. It's VERY difficult to close. My teen and my husband can do it, but even they have to work for it. Anyone injured, disabled, or elderly could not do it. Now I'm sure over time that will become easier. Unfortunately i can't wait for that to happen. Overall- I DO recommend for anyone not elderly or disabled.
Well worth the price

I bought this to replace a super comfy recliner I'd had for seven years and although it's not quite as big, the Beyond recliner is certainly worth its price and more. I'm 6'3" and although it's a little short for me, the leg rest is fine for reclining and the chair itself is very comfortable. If it lasts half as long as the chair it replaced I will feel I got my money's worth.
