This item is very durable and long lasting. The dustpan doesn't rise over time and makes it easier to pick up dirt and any dust bunnies that may get stuck in the broom. This is the second one i purchased because I moved and I like to have new house hold items when I changed addresses. I use this one on the inside and use the other for my porch and outside sweeping. This is a brand I will continue to use. #sweepstakes
