Kristen Cox

Kristen is the senior vice president and chief stores officer of Big Lots, where she is responsible for the development, implementation, and consistent execution of operational strategies that drive sales, improve margins, and enhance customer services across our nearly 1,400 stores.

With nearly three decades of experience in various areas of store operations, Kristen knows off-price retail and what it takes to win in this space. Prior to Big Lots, she worked at Burlington, where she was the SVP of Human Resources for all stores and the SVP of the Northeast and Midwest stores. Before Burlington, Kristen spent 14 years in key leadership positions with Macy’s, including EVP of stores for their North Central Region.

Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University. She likes trying new restaurants and recipes, loves the beach and Disney, and enjoys gardening.
